Congratulations to CHS & OHS teacher Becky Logan, who received the "Hometown Hero" award from Modern Woodman Financial! Ms. Logan received the award for her dedication to the robotics teams at both CHS and CMS. ❤️🤍🖤 #CavalierPride #BuildingStrongerTogether

Congratulations to CMS Science Teacher & CHS E-Sports Coordinator, Trevor Sanchez Deleon who was recognized at the board meeting for his leadership and coaching of the CHS E-Sports team. Mr. Sanchez Deleon brought the idea from his experience with the SVSU team during his student teaching in science at CHS. 25 students participated in the fall season, which was the first for our team. Some highlights from the ESports season include:
3 Teams (Titles) Valorant, Super Smash Brothers 2, Overwatch 2
- Overwatch 2: State Runners Up for that title. Lost 3-1 to Novi in the State Championship Game through Michigan High School E-sports League (MHSEL)
- Super Smash Brothers 2: Qualified for the MHSEL playoffs, losing in the early rounds. Ranked 28th in the state for that title.
- Valorant: Difficult game... Didn't make the playoffs.
