Dear Carrollton Community,
More than $1,000,000 in scholarships, from diverse colleges, universities, trade schools, Military, local, and state organizations, was earned by the Carrollton Public Schools Classes of 2023. This is not only exciting news, but it is also promising for what the future holds for Carrollton graduates!
On May 25, 2023, Carrollton High School and Omni High School held Commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2023. 100 students from CHS and 40 from OHS walked across the stage to receive their diploma in front of family, staff, and our Board of Education. Cavalier Pride filled the room as the hard work and dedication of these students over many years was recognized as their greatest accomplishment thus far!
The Carrollton staff is proud of every graduate and their achievements. We believe the education received at Carrollton Public Schools has prepared our students to be global citizens and able to compete in an ever-changing world. Our district continues to provide a well-rounded educational experience in Academics, the Arts, and Athletics. Our students continue to be the most resilient in Saginaw County, thriving and beating many odds. Our educators are outstanding and award-winning, including science teacher, Craig Coopersmith, the 2023 Mridha Teacher of the Year! Carrollton Public Schools is the Destination District!
I continue to serve as the proud Superintendent of Carrollton Public Schools. It is my honor and privilege to lead this amazing school community and work alongside our accomplished governance team. I remain grateful for your continued support and for entrusting your child to the staff of Carrollton Public Schools.
With Cavalier Pride,
Tiffany L. Peterson, Ed.S.
