The pandemic has brought an increase in young children's use of cell phones, social media and text messaging. While it can be fun to connect with others when they are home, we are finding our students are also being exposed to very inappropriate things that they do not know how to handle.
When addressing inappropriate behaviors, we are also finding many of our parents are overwhelmed and do not know how to filter, monitor and protect their kids on these devices.
We want to help by offering some interactive workshops where we will give you information and help you monitor your kids social media interactions. While we are not tech experts, we will have some staff on hand to help you if you would like to bring your devices. I know together we can navigate this growing challenge and help our kids!
