Dear Cavalier Community,
We are reaching out to make you aware we are using a new visitor check-in system called the Raptor Visitor Management System. This system will help us keep our schools safe for our students, staff, and visitors.
What you need to know
When you visit the school to volunteer or attend a meeting, please bring a photo ID (like a driver’s license, state ID, or passport).
Your ID will be quickly scanned at the office or entered into our system.
Once approved, you’ll get a visitor badge with your photo on it. You’ll wear this badge while in the building.
When you leave, you will stop by the office to sign out.
Why are we doing this?
The Raptor system checks IDs to make sure visitors do not have a criminal record that would prohibit them from being able to be in the school building. It’s one more way we can keep our students safe and make sure we know who is in our buildings.
If you don’t have a photo ID:
No problem! If you don’t have a U.S. government ID, bring a different photo ID (such as a work ID) along with something that has your name on it, like a credit card or utility bill. We’ll help you through the process.
We know this is a new change, and we’re here to help. Safety is our top priority, and we’re grateful for your support as we work to keep our schools secure. If you have any questions, just call the school office—we’re happy to help!
Thank you for being our partners in keeping students safe!
