Partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of America After School Program to provide on-campus after-school enrichment opportunities to students who attend Carrollton Public Schools
Over 10 million dollars offered to graduates in scholarships in the last 4 years
100% of graduating seniors apply to a college or trade school and have a plan after graduating from high school
A 15% increase in students going directly from high school to college
Providing all students the opportunity to visit 5 different college or university campuses over the course of their high school career
Honors program for elementary students
“Seniors to Seniors” program- 7 years of providing free yard work and home care to senior citizens and disabled members of the Carrollton Community
Carrollton High School is a Michigan Reward School recipient
Facility improvements such as a new roof on the high school, new playground equipment at the LCLC, updated library at both MS and High School, cafeteria improvement, new stadium ticket booth, updated and refinished MS gym floor
Technology improvements: the district now has 1200 Chromebooks and all teacher stations and student labs have state-of-the-art computers
Provide breakfast, lunch, and a third meal to all students at no charge
Elementary School serves as a site for SVSU’s student teachers and teacher exploration classes
Key personnel additions: College and Career Advisor, Director of Instruction, Director of Data and Assessment, Grant and Tech Coordinator, Shared-Time Coordinator, and two new counselors
Partners with SVSU and Dow for ST Math intervention program in middle school
Partnership with SVSU Reading Clinic and the Elementary School
District focus on the Arts by offering Choir, Band, Art, Foreign language, Technology, PE, and Robotics at all levels
Partnerships with SVSU math and science center that provide professional development to staff and family math and science nights
8th grade/11th-grade mentoring program
Student Council and National Junior Honor Society at the middle school
Recipient of “Project Lead the Way” $20,000 grant for science grades 6-8 covers supplies, computers, and training
