Dear Cavalier Community,
Welcome August!
It is with great pleasure that I welcome every Cavalier to the 2023-2024 school year in Carrollton Public Schools, where we are Building Stronger Together. Moving into the second year as Superintendent, I continue to be honored to represent and serve this wonderful community.
On behalf of all members of our district staff, our Board of Education, and myself, I want to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the ongoing support and partnership that you have provided to our schools. Your dedication and commitment to the education and well-being of our students are at the heart of all that we do, and we are truly grateful for your continued involvement and investment in our shared mission.
I am incredibly proud of the progress we have made thus far, but as a team, we are committed to doing everything possible to build upon our successes and address any challenges that arise. Together, we can create a learning environment in which every student feels supported and encouraged to reach their full potential, and every staff member feels fulfilled and rewarded in their daily practice.
This year we have a special opportunity to build even greater connections and relationships among all members of our community. As we work together to provide the best educational experience for our students, I encourage each of you to get involved and play an active role in shaping our shared future. Whether you are a student, parent, educator, or community member, we all have a responsibility to support one another and contribute to the success of our schools. By building stronger connections and working together, we can create a culture of inclusion and collaboration that will benefit everyone in our community.
I encourage all students and families to attend our District-wide Open House on Thursday, August 24, 2023, from 3:00 - 6:00 pm, where we officially welcome every Cavalier to the 2023-2024 school year! During this time, you will have the opportunity to meet our amazing teachers, tour our beautiful buildings, and experience the Carrollton Public Schools difference! The “welcome back fun” will continue at Cavalier Stadium that evening, when our varsity football team hosts their first home game at 7:00 pm. Please be sure to save the date!
Thank you for your ongoing support and dedication to our schools. I look forward to continuing to work with all of you to make Carrollton Public Schools the Destination District - a great place for students, staff and families to learn and grow.
